ABOUT ME!

Hi! I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and grew up in a family of lounge singers, pianists, and stage technicians, so theatres feel like a second home. I enjoy cooking for my friends and family, as well as hiking and going on walks with my red nose Pitbull Lucca. I played soccer for 12 years and have a passion for history. I started learning Italian at University and studied in Siena, Italy. Going there helped me discover a new part of myself as an Italian American and I rediscovered my love for language. Language connects us to our past and propels us into our futures by giving us new methods of thought. It has been said that speaking another language is like having another soul. I strive to bring these experiences into my craft. I embrace both my Mexican and Italian identities and want to be a part of creating more diverse and culturally impactful art. My time at NYU with my five other peers of color (and now lifelong friends known as the BIPOC besties) has shown me that there is power and beauty in everyone's story, and they deserve to be told.
